A nice, cold 40

Claire and I went out yesterday on a tandem ride with our friends Bill and Debbie.  They took us out on one of their favorite 40 mile loops.  It was a very fun loop over Chalk Hill and Westside Roads.  Except for the chilly temperatures, it was perfect.  We saw lots of other cyclists on the road, which is always a good sign.

This photo was taken in the town of Trona, CA during the Furnace Creek 508.  Bill and Debbie, along with another couple, were in the process of setting the mixed tandem team record.  Claire and I drove support for them.
